Being in the NFL requires maximum effort. I should know. I was a seventh-round draft pick who had to work hard to make it in the league. For 14 years, I've given every last drop of sweat I have in practices and games. Every player has to do this, or someone behind him will try to take his job. The guys with long careers combine talent with a work ethic. Since everyone is talented, effort is what makes players stand out in the crowd.
