Partner Services Specialist/Manager

The partner services specialist/manager is responsible for managing state or federal contracts for Family First. The primary role is managing the Responsible Fatherhood Initiative Part B, which provides support and training to grantees and the FL Department of Children and Families

Responsibilities

Contract Program Management:

  • Oversee the training and services for awarded grantees (30+) in Florida’s Responsible Fatherhood Initiative.
  • Manage regular meetings and communications with the Florida Department of Children and Families, the grant managers (4), and Family First subcontractors (6+).
  • Develop annual contracts and approve invoices for the subcontractors’ services.
  • Oversee and manage the planning and execution of the annual in-person training conference for awarded grantees.
  • Communicate with awarded grantees regarding available training and services.
  • Track the use of services and training by awarded grantees and report to DCF.
  • Work with internal and contracted team to keep awardee website up to date.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
  • Work with the Family First internal and external contracted teams to ensure timelines are met for all deliverables on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Upkeep, track, and respond when necessary to requests through the Father First website “Contact Us” form.
  • Manage budget to monitor use and availability of subcontractor services.
  • Future State Fatherhood Initiatives:
  • Using best practices, assist in developing a prototype to scale, replicate, and leverage in local communities across the U.S. and/or a model to financially, strategically, organizationally support existing local individuals and organizations.
  • Provide other support for partner services team as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be capable of interacting with and managing multiple subcontractors
  • Ability to understand overall contract goals and to know when to provide that information to multiple external individuals (subcontractors, grant managers, DCF lead)
  • Capable of leading external teams and group meetings to achieve contract goals
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in public presentations and in written correspondence to diverse groups of individuals
  • Must have at least moderate skills in using proper grammar without heavy reliance on spell-checking aids
  • 4-year college degree minimum and minimum 7 years similar work
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs is required.
  • Ability to travel as needed
