Corporate and Government Specialist

Reporting to the corporate and government relations senior manager, the corporate and government relations specialist is responsible for re-securing existing partners, acquiring new partners, and providing exceptional support and service to all Family First partners. This role requires strong sales and customer service skills as well as keen attention to detail. The specialist will communicate both externally with corporate partners and state legislators and internally with members of the Family First team.

Job Description:

Management of Existing Partners:

  • Communicate clearly with existing partners regarding all aspects of their sponsorship of the All Pro Dad Experience.
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of all contractual obligations related to an existing partner’s sponsorship.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to sponsors of the All Pro Dad Experience regarding deliverables.
  • Secure and input corporate partner information into HubSpot.

Securing Partners:

  • Secure renewed sponsorship commitments and increased sponsorship commitments from partners who have supported Family First at past events.
  • Research and identify potential partners, key decision-makers, industry contacts, and new sponsorship opportunities in target markets.
  • Pitch to key decision-makers and secure their sponsorship of the All Pro Dad Experience.
  • Secure and input prospect information into HubSpot and manage entire sales pipeline.

Management of Government Partners and Appropriation Contracts:

  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with state legislators in key states.
  • Support in securing and maintaining state appropriation funding.
  • Support in ongoing communications with participating Strong Family Tax Credit sponsors.

Administrative Duties:

  • Execute contracts, invoice, and ensure payment from corporate partners.
  • Schedule in-person meetings, Zoom meetings, and phone calls for the corporate and government relations senior manager.
  • Send thank-you gifts, thank-you notes, and sponsorship recaps to partners.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in a comprehensive sales and client management role with progressively responsible experience and demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale priorities
  • Considerable experience with donor/contact management systems and program management tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday)
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong desire to work for the mission and cause of Family First and its programs, All Pro Dad and iMOM

Location: Must work at Family First office in Tampa, FL
