All Pro Dad Adapts To Virtual School Chapter Meetings Amidst Covid-19, Continues Mission To Strengthen Relationships

Monthly Program Shifts to Virtual Meeting Model to Promote Continued Relationship Building for Fathers And Children

TAMPA, Fla.—April 1, 2020—All Pro Dad, the fatherhood program of Tampa-based national nonprofit Family First, is announcing a virtual meeting solution for its All Pro Dad Chapters across the country, a monthly school gathering that allows dads and their kids to engage in meaningful conversations and activities centered around a character-based curriculum. The All Pro Dad Virtual Chapter Guide will provide existing chapters with access to tools and resources to continue regular breakfast chapter meetings in a virtual space.

All Pro Dad Virtual Chapter Guide materials include directions for running a chapter meeting with the Zoom® video conferencing tool.  The guide will help leaders navigate virtual meeting nuances while also listing upcoming dates for upcoming online All Pro Dad Chapter meetings, which will be made available to those who are unable to host a virtual gathering on their own. Current All Pro Dad team captains can access materials through their chapter’s online dashboard.

“Fathers have an incredible role to play in their children’s lives, particularly during times of uncertainty,” said Tony Dungy, co-founder of All Pro Dad. “Though current circumstances prevent us from coming together physically, the All Pro Dad Virtual Chapter Guide will allow chapter members to gather remotely to continue building relationships and making memories.”

The All Pro Dad chapter program is a monthly school gathering that allows dads to enjoy breakfast with their kids and engage in meaningful conversations and activities centered around a character-based curriculum. In a time when physical interaction and socialization is not possible, All Pro Dad believes father-child connection should remain a priority–virtually or otherwise.

Through interactive events, daily encouragement and monthly chapter meetings, All Pro Dad offers fathers the opportunity to connect with kids by strengthening relationships, inspiring leadership and providing guidance and practical parenting tips.
