Family First Encourages Families to Share Their Story

“National Write Your Story Day” Contest gives families the

opportunity to bond over a great story … theirs!

TAMPA, Fla. (March 14, 2019) — Starting March 14, which is National Write Your Story Day, Family First encourages families to share their story of love with others nationwide. From March 14-30, Family First will accept submissions demonstrating how families have loved one another well through good and bad times. Families with biological, adoptive or foster children are encouraged to share their unique story. The winning stories will be shared across the Family First network of social media sites (Family Minute, iMOM and All Pro Dad), reaching more than 5 million daily followers across multiple channels. The winner will receive a $250 gift card to spend with their family.

All entries will receive the newest book by Mark and Susan Merrill, From Me to You, a conversation journal that engages children and parents to answer questions and share thoughts with one another or a set of children’s books of equal value.

The stories can be as varied as the imagination of a child. The only stipulation is that the entries be less than 500 words. All stories can be submitted starting March 14 on Family First’s Write Your Family Story page. Families are encouraged to write their story and, if they want, read it on camera for sharing via our social media channels. The winner will be selected by Family First.

“We believe that our families are all unique and have special stories to share,” said Susan Merrill, Family First marketing director. “We are excited to hear all the great stories of families living and loving together.”
